Mind Your Body – weight management programme

I thought I would take a moment to go into some more detail about what is involved in my Ming Your Body programme to help give you a little insight if you are considering signing up.

This is a programme centred around helping you to take control over any negative eating habits or patterns you have.  In fact, the first step is actually uncovering these habits and patterns and understanding them a little more deeply… then you begin to work on changing them :). When you sign up you will receive a welcome pack from me which includes several exercises and trackers to help you get come clarity on where you are and where you would like to be.  You can be working on this from the moment you sign up, you don’t need to wait for your first session to get started!

During the programme, I use Hypnotherapy to help relax you into a state where your mind becomes open to believing new ideas when it comes to food and exercise.    What does this mean exactly??  Well it means that as the weeks progress you will begin to notice changes in how you are thinking about food!   Resisting the foods that you don’t want to consume will become easier and you will even feel more motivated and energised to exercise!

It certainly does NOT mean that I will put you into a trance state, take over your mind and control your every thought!   I assure you, I do not know how to do that!!   Hypnotherapy is simply a tool that we can use to help open your mind to new ideas and thoughts.   The sessions are very much like a deep guided meditation and you remain fully in control of both your mind and your body at all times!

As well as the in-person sessions, you will also receive a new audio each week to listen to at home for the first 8 weeks.  This is where the magic really happens!  When you commit to listening every day,  the changes really do begin to happen!    The audios are between 15 and 30 minutes in length so this is all the time that is required each day to really get the most out of the programme.

As well as the audios (which are yours to keep and listen to forever!) you will also gain access to workout videos.  These are Pilates-based workouts that I have designed especially for this programme and they are suitable for all fitness levels.  Again, these are between 15 and 20 minutes in length to enable you to fit them into your day easily.

You are of course encouraged and supported to do any other form of exercise that you enjoy – the workouts are there as an option, but they are not compulsory for the programme to be successful.  The main component is the self-hypnosis audios and (ideally) daily listening.

There are several options available for taking part in the programme to suit various schedules and budgets:

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS:

If you want to work with me on and individual basis, we can arrange to meet either weekly for the first 8 weeks of the programme or fortnightly on weeks 1, 3, 5 & 7.   In these sessions we will chat over your struggles and successes as you work through the programme and I will then be able to tailor your Hypnotherapy sessions to suit your specific needs or issues.

If we are meeting weekly there is also the option for some of the sessions to be based around physical fitness where I can guide you through a personalised Pilates-based workout.

You will continue to receive support via email for a further 4 weeks after the 8th audio has been delivered and you are of course welcome to continue for further future sessions if desired.

GROUP SESSIONS:

I also offer the option to meet in small groups of between 2 and 6 people.  These will take place on week 1, 3, 5 & 7 of the programme and, as with the individual sessions, we will chat over successes and struggles when we meet and then you will receive the Hypnotherapy as a group.  You will then continue to receive support via email right up until 12 weeks.

If anything personal comes up during the programme that you prefer not to share in the group environment the option is there to add on a personal Hypnotherapy session to help with whatever you require.
