HYPNOTHERAPY

After exploring the power of meditation more deeply, Hypnotherapy was a natural progression for me.  It really is the ultimate meditation!

Far from the image that so many people have of mind control and making people cluck like chickens, it is actually a wonderfully relaxing experience that can ultimately bring some beautiful and positive changes into your life.  You are always fully in control, even when under hypnosis.

Before embarking on any therapy sessions with a client, I will always conduct an initial consultation during which I will gather details about the issue that you require help with.   This allows me to understand what exactly each person would like help with and decide if Hypnotherapy is a suitable treatment.  It also gives you an opportunity to ask any questions and alleviate any worries you may have regarding the process. I will also go through a short relaxation practice in this first meeting.  This means you will not only enjoy the wonderful benefits of deep relaxation straight away, but you will also understand more clearly what is involved in a Hypnotherapy session.

From there I will then work on some personalised scripts to use in the therapy session/s.   The number of sessions varies for each individual and can be anything from one session up to 7 or 8 depending on the issue.   This will all be discussed in the Initial Consultation.

Clients will also receive personalised recording/s to listen to in addition to the face to face sessions.  These can be extremely helpful in bringing about the desired changes.

“Hypnosis is not only a tool to make wonderful changes in your life, it’s a way to de-stress.  Your pulse slows down.  Your blood pressure comes down.  When that happens, you see things more clearly.  You’re primed for making changes.”
